Product Description The very first waterproof boot ever made by Timberland is still constructed of the finest materials and is still tops in New England craftsmanship. This 6-inch waterproof boot keeps your feet warm and dry with its full-grain, waterproof, glove-leather lining and with its thermal microfiber and closed-cell foam insulation. Also features a padded collar and a rubber lug sole.
Amazon.com Product Description There's just no substitute for a sturdy, guaranteed Waterproof boot to keep feet comfortable and dry, rain or shine. And Timberland has been making this one since they opened their doors over thirty years ago. Rugged and dependable, they like to think of it as the role model for everything they make today.

Great Boot! November 11, 2008 B. Ralston I bought a pair of these four years ago in Korea. They've been amazingly comfortable since day one. I bought a motorcycle 3 years ago and these became my riding boots, so they get worn a LOT. After 4 years of constant wear the soles are wearing out (as would be expected of any shoe worn half that long) and the top padding is separating, but it is still amazingly comfortable. I would recommend these to anyone, they are well worth the price if you're in need of a comfortable, durable, long-lasting boot. I only wish I could get them for the price I paid in Korea...
not like they used to be made May 15, 2008 Timothy Bronswinkel (Waco TX) I love timberland boots, I've been wearing them for the past 5 years and overall I was very satisfied with them. However this last pair that I bought disappointed me a bit though. I've had to send them back after a few months because I was getting a very annoying sound from each one on every step I took. The return was easy, and I got my refund. I bought a new pair at a store, and have been wearing them for about 6 months now, but I a starting to get the same sound of one of the pairs. This issue needs solving fast. These boots are great for people who like to walk a lot, and not nesecarely walking on concrete. I just hope the quality gets back to where it used to be.
Trouble getting right size March 4, 2008 S. Steingass (Brooklyn, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These boots were exactly what my 17-year-old son wanted, but when we ordered his regular shoe size, they were way too big. He needed them for a trip, so we didn't have time to exchange them by mail. He tried on two other pairs at a local sporting goods store, and ended up with a full size smaller than his regular shoe size. I wish that the website had provided advice on sizing.
