| Customer Reviews:
Nothing special here January 1, 2009 M. Grady (Northern VA United States) I liked some of the stories, but overall I was not impressed by this book. The authors didn't tell you where they got the stories from, for one. They could have made them all up. The writing is not very good. There are a few retold storeis (Ruffian, Seabbiscuit) that I knew and found were not retold well. This is a nice little light reading book, but I'd guess you'll find a better done horse stories book elsewhere. This isn't up to the standard of the Chicken Soup books, for example. Many of the "miracles" were just horses being themselves. They are wonderful, of course, but I felt let down by the book. It isn't what it says it is.
