I wore this boots less than 10 times and it began to leak water, which is because a deep slit had opened just at the edge of the sole.

I just got my boots this morning and have been wearing them around the studio all day! I refuse to take them off, even if it is sunny and 75 degrees out.
Just a side note about fit to other potential buyers: If you wear a 1/2 size, order down. I cosistantly wear a (us) 7 1/2 or (eur)38, but I ordered a size (us) 7 (eur) 37 and they fit perfectly. The ankle is also very nice, other rainboots made me look like I had oak trees for ankles, but these create a much nicer line through the calf and ankle so that you don't look like a Russian turnip farmer's wife. Flattering, comfy, stylish, and well priced! These are the unicorn of all rainboots!

I wore my boots for the first time today-super comfortable! You wouldn't believe they are rain boots. People thought they were hand-painted! I seen that comment in another review & it's true. These are high-quality & very easy to hike in the dunes. I usually wear an 8 1/2 so I purchased the 9-I seen that someone else was having issues with sizes. I say go up because you can always wear a pair of socks. If you go too small you'll have blisters. Buy a pair! They Rock!

I bought the Holland version of these boots for my college daughter and her best friend who both go to schools with a huge population of Dutch kids. They both loved the boots and haven't taken them off since Christmas. They are comfortable and with thick socks they are warm and waterproof enough for Chicago and Michigan winters. They are wide enough to stuff jeans into the tops and comfortable for all day walking. Great boots!
