Cute, but short-lived October 5, 2008 Rhubarb 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had two different pairs of Chooka rain boots and both times, they developed tears at the seam of the sole within a few months of purchse. I live in Seattle and felt that rain boots were a perfect shoe for the rain and snow. The tread on the shoe is good, so you definitely won't slip, but I was surprised at the degree of wear they developed just wearing them for walking to school and work. On one pair, the buckle cracked, and on both pairs, there were holes in the rubber that water would leak through. When I called Chooka's customer service number to ask about repair, their represantative rudely informed me that "It's rubber. There's nothing you can do about it. Just return it if it's still under warranty." Thanks, jerk. For a company located right outside of Seattle, I would've expected a longer lasting rain boot. Overall, I love the style and comfort of the boots, but they are not made for everyday use. Only consider purchasing if you don't reside in a largely rainy climate.
Puddles? No worries! September 30, 2008 Satisfied Customer (Nebraska, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My second day of college I had to walk all the way across campus in the downpouring rain. The walk took about 15 and I was completely drenched. I decided rainboots were a must have. I bought the Chooka brand with Tiny Whales because they were a good price and I thought they were adorable. I am very satisfied with my purchase. They are comfortable and now I go out of my way to walk in puddles just knowing my feet will stay dry. They were definitely worth the money!
blue whale boots August 25, 2008 wetlands girl (washington, us) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The blue whale wellies are terrific. The size was true to fit and they came in perfect condition. They have held up and are quite comfortable with heavy socks.
Cute but Not so Comfy August 3, 2008 B. Mannix 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I may just have to break these in, but they fit a bit awkwardly at first because of the material. However, this is expected with rainboots and these ones seem very durable. Overall these are good boots.
So cute and work great April 20, 2008 K. Currier (Michigan USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these in the spring and they were amazing. I have to work out in basically a mud pit for my surveying class, so these boots kept my feet perfectly dry and had great traction on them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a RAIN BOOT. They are not insulated, so would not make a good winter boot.
